ABOUT

Senshi Kai Martial Arts began in Townsville in 2016. Since starting this system of self-defense, we have gone from freestyle martial arts and incorporated aspects of Ju Jitsu, Kick boxing, Judo and Muay Thai techniques. The system was originally based off of Zen Do Kai, of which both Shane and Shannon have studied for over 37 years.

247 Web Design had great pleasure in creating a website for Senshikai Martial Arts in Townsville, Queensland. Senshikai required a thoughtful approach to design and functionality, ensuring it meets the needs of both the dojo and its potential students. Here’s a breakdown of the features and elements included in this project:

Design and Aesthetic

Colour Scheme: The website features a striking red and black colour scheme, reflecting the strength and discipline inherent in martial arts. This palette is both eye-catching and cohesive, providing a consistent visual theme throughout the site.
Glass Effect Header: A modern glass effect is applied to the header, creating a sleek and contemporary look. This adds depth and sophistication to the website’s design, making it visually appealing to visitors.
Image Hover Effects: Interactive image hover effects are implemented to engage users as they navigate the site. These effects provide a dynamic experience, allowing images to transform subtly when hovered over, thus capturing attention and enhancing the overall user experience.

Functional Features

Google Analytics Integration: To understand visitor behaviour and improve user experience, Google Analytics is integrated into the website. This allows Senshikai Martial Arts to track important metrics, such as page views, time spent on site, and user demographics, which are invaluable for making data-driven decisions.
News Page with Dynamic Posts: The website includes a dedicated news page where dynamic posts keep visitors informed about the latest events, classes, and achievements at the dojo. This functionality ensures content is always fresh and relevant, encouraging frequent visits to the site.
